Standardized assessments are performed in conjunction with a play-based assessment style to determine the degree and severity of communication impairments. We will share with you immediate impressions and initial findings at the close of the evaluation. At your follow-up session, should therapy be indicated, we will review standard scores, areas of deficit and provide a rationale and explanation of planned intervention.
Parent or caregiver participation and involvement are essential to our program. We ask parents to do activities within the home in support of therapy task to solidify gains made and aid in progress.
